Five-year-old J’Mill Loves Singing and Kisses

J'Mill is a special needs child who will fill your life with joy and smiles.
Five-year-old J'Mill is an engaging child with a bubbly personality. He enjoys being sung to and responds by relaxing and cooing along with the music. According to J'Mill's caregiver, he smiles when kissed and laughs in response to voices.

He enjoys listening to classical music, colorful pictures, the Disney channel and toys that light up and make lots of noises. He requires special care and attention, but the love and joy that he shares with his caregivers is priceless.

J'Mill receives physical, occupational and speech therapy to assist with his developmental progress. He has made some progress in his level of performance and can play Patty Cake and roll from side to side. J'Mill has mobile limitations and requires a liquid diet by way of a feeding tube. He needs a loving family that is patient knowledgeable and experienced in caring for children with special needs.

Support services will continue to be provided for J'Mill after adoption. DCFS and other community and nationwide training and support systems are available to assist persons who desire to give him a lifetime family to call his own.

For more information on J'Mill, or other children in need of adoption, call the Louisiana Department of Children & Family Services at 1 (800) 259-3428. If you are interested in providing a safe and stable home for a child who needs one, please call today.
