Sixth Grader Azalea Loves to Draw, Make Jokes

Azalea is a 12-year-old who enjoys art and science.
This sixth grader loves to draw and her favorite subjects are art and science. Azalea has some academic difficulty in reading comprehension and mathematics, but receives educational support to assist her in these areas. Despite these difficulties, Azalea enjoys reading. She also takes pleasure in skating and having time to herself.
Azalea would benefit from a one or two parent home that is able to provide her with individualized attention and structure. Azalea could also benefit from a family who is patient with her as she transitions into a new living environment.
For more information on Azalea, or other children in need of adoption, call the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services at 1 (800) 259-3428.
