Louisiana Child Care
and Development Fund Plan
The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) is the principal source of federal funding for child care subsidies for low-income families and for initiatives to improve the quality of child care in states. Each state qualifies to receive an amount of federal funds each year and can receive additional federal funds by spending state dollars for child care subsidies and quality initiatives.

Child Care and Development State Plan Renewal - Additional Information for Public Comment
The final preprint was recently received from the Office of Child Care. This final version contained minor revisions to the preprint including changes to some instructions, information requested, and formatting. These revisions were reviewed and found to have little or no impact on Louisiana's response with the exception of the change to item 1.2.3. This item changed in the way information was requested and the chart's format which required a change to 1.2.3 regarding quality activities. This revised answer is provided here for your review and comment.
In addition the Child Care Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (draft May 2013) is also now posted for your review and comment.
